According to the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics, in the first eight months of this year, raw coal production in the Chinese province of Shanxi amounted to 862.567 million tons, an increase of 5.2 percent year-on-year, accounting for 27.3 percent of total raw coal production in China.
