According to data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in August of this year, the foreign sales index of Turkish manufacturers (PPI)* in general increased by 1.32 percent compared to July and 28.01 percent of annual calculus, while average growth of 25.47 percent was registered over the past 12 months.
In the indicated month, the prices of foreign sales of manufacturers in the Turkish domestic metallurgical industry increased by 0.57 percent in annual calculus and increased by 19.75 percent compared to the same month of 2024. Meanwhile, the average increase in prices over the past 12 months amounted to 20.71 percent.
on the other hand, in August the prices of foreign sales of Turkish manufacturers for domestic metal products, with the exception of machines, increased by 1.09 percent compared to July and increased by 27.82 percent in annual calculus. At the same time, the average increase in prices over the past 12 months was 25.99 percent.
