Chinese steel manufacturer Shougang Jingtang ordered from a French engineering company Fives Group's new vertical annealing furnace for the company's galvanizing line No. 9. With an annual capacity of 450,000 tons, the line is designed to produce high-quality grades of automotive steel, a segment in which demand continues to grow worldwide.
The furnace will be a vertical Stein Digiflex model equipped with the latest AdvanTek combustion system. This advanced system is designed to provide a high level of energy efficiency, providing lower fuel consumption and flexibility to adapt to different energy sources, while also reducing emissions to achieve environmental goals.
Another key feature is the FlashCooling rapid cooling system, which provides significant operational flexibility. This allows precise control of the cooling rate, provides precise control of temperature cycles, and guarantees the uniformity of the cooling process. These capabilities are necessary to maintain stable steel quality, especially in the production of automobile brands.
