In January 2013, the production plant Zaporozhstal increased the production of steel by 9.9% to 329 thousand 100 tons, increased the production of cast iron by 4.3% to 279 thousand tons and increased the production of metal rolling by 7.4% to 282 thousand tons, all in relation to January 2012. This was reported by the press center of the plant.

At the Metallurgical Plant, Zaporozhstal actively conduct technological measures that reduce operating losses and, in addition, introduce organizational innovations for more complete use of reserves of production efficiency.
“No one needs to be convinced that being a competitive production means to be the best in the main directions - quality, decreased cost and increase in production. The team of the plant copes with the tasks perfectly, which clearly demonstrates the performance indicators of the plant in January and, I am sure that it will be so in the future ”was emphasized in his message by the Director General of the Zaporizhstal Communist Party Rostislav Shurma.
In confirmation of his words, the press center cited some technical data in January 2013. So the growth of cast iron production for one nominal day in January 2013 amounted to 9 thousand 235 tons against 8 thousand 721 tons in January 2012. The shipment of the commodity metal in the reporting period amounted to 281 thousand tons, which is 19 thousand 800 tons more than the shipment in January 2012 - 261 thousand 2,00 tons.
