INDA's expectations for November 2025 are that acquisitions and sales should decrease by 4 percent compared to October 2025.
Speaking at a conference with analysts, Carlos Loureiro, executive president of INDA, said that Brazilian flat-rolled steel producers will raise their prices by 5-8 percent in January 2026, adding that with such an increase, prices will return to the levels seen in January 2025.
He mentioned that prices have consistently declined throughout 2025, which has been negatively affected by imports from China, mainly at dumping prices.
