Chinese steel company Fushun Special Steel (Fushun Special Steel), based in liaoning province, announced that it expects to record a net loss of 770-870 million yuan ($110-124 million) for 2025, moving from a net profit of 112 million yuan in 2024.
The company stated that orders received and sales prices for some products decreased during the year, while production at the newly built project was below expectations, resulting in higher fixed costs per unit. At the same time, increased quality control requirements led to increased quality-related costs, which negatively impacted the company's results for the year.
