Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Steel recorded net profit of RMB 32.02 million in January–September 2026, down 95.14% from the same period a year earlier. Revenue at the Guangxi-based company fell 2.69% to RMB 49.43 billion.
Revenue in July–September rose 2.19% year on year to RMB 16.48 billion. The company posted a net loss of RMB 44.1 million for the quarter, with the result down 115.13% year on year.
In the first nine months, Liuzhou Steel produced 2.11 million tonnes of steel plate and 3.25 million tonnes of wire rod, down 10.27% and 17.54%, respectively. Output of cold-rolled coil rose 7.42% to 2.99 million tonnes, while hot-rolled coil production increased 25.09% to 1.07 million tonnes.
