The Central Bank of Chile reported that the country's economy grew by 1.2 percent in November 2025 compared with November 2024, as measured by the IMACEC index.
Goods production fell by 1.3 percent, mining activity fell by 2.6 percent, manufacturing grew by 0.3 percent, trade activity grew by 5.5 percent, and services grew by 1.9. percent.
On a monthly basis, the IMACEC index decreased by 0.6 percent from October to November 2025.
During this period, goods production decreased by 0.7 percent, mining activity decreased by 1.5 percent, manufacturing decreased by 0.1 percent, trading activity increased by 0.3 percent, and the services sector decreased by 0.6 percent. percent.
The services sector was the main driver of the index's growth, adding 0.9 percentage points to an overall increase of 1.2 percent, followed by trade activities, which added 0.5 percentage points.
The Monthly Index of Economic Activity (IMACEC) serves as an indicator of changes in Chile's gross domestic product (GDP).
