The Spanish company Galmed Steel will provide galvanizing services for Stegra steel with almost zero emissions

Swedish green steel manufacturer Stegra has announced that it has entered into a letter of intent with the Spanish company Galmed Steel to provide galvanizing services for low-emission steel products.

The agreement sets the framework for Galmed Steel to galvanize steel produced at the Stegra plant in Boden, supporting the supply of near-zero-emission steel to customers.

The main focus is on automotive-coated flat products

Galmed Steel, an independent hot-dip galvanizing specialist based in Sagunto, Spain, focuses on premium-coated flat steel products designed to provide enhanced corrosion resistance fortitude. According to the letter of intent, galvanized material processed by Galmed Steel will be supplied to selected customers in the automotive sector.
