In particular, as of January 20, domestic reserves of HRC and CRC decreased by 4.2 percent and 3.7 percent, while stocks of medium steel sheet, wire rod and rebar increased by 0.9 percent, 7.5 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively, compared with January 10.
Stocks of basic finished steel products in China decreased by 0.3% in mid-January 2025
On January 20 of this year, the total domestic stocks of the five main finished steel products in 21 major Chinese cities totaled 7.09 million tons, down 20,000 tons or 0.3 percent from January 10, as announced by the Chinese Association of Ferrous Metallurgy (CISA).
