According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and metal products totaled $2 billion in December 2025, down 2.5% from December 2024 and up 3.3% from the previous month. In November, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and products increased 0.9% from the previous month.
In 2025, export orders for base metals and products fell 8.3% year-on-year to $23.09 billion.
