According to indexes based on individual questions asked to the heads of Turkish construction sector enterprises that own private enterprises with 10 or more employees, the index of confidence in construction activity registered over the past three months increased by three percent to 91.7 points per month.
In January, the current total subindex of order books increased by 2.7 percent to 80.7 points, while the subindex of total employment expectations for the next three months increased by 0.4 percent to 90.8 points compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, in this month, executives' expectations for sales prices in the next three months increased by 3.8 percent month-on-month to 114.5 points.
* The values of the industry confidence index range from zero to 200. When the index is above 100, it indicates an optimistic outlook for the current and future period of the sector, when it is below 100, it indicates a pessimistic outlook.
