In January 2013, cast iron exports from Ukraine decreased by 33.7% compared to the previous month - up to 139 thousand 150 tons, this was reported in the office of ministers.
The revenue from the sale of cast iron abroad also decreased by 31.4% - to 47 million 730 thousand dollars.
The most Ukrainian cast iron was bought by Italian metallurgical enterprises, apparently because of the situation on Ilva. The share of Italian exports amounted to more than 60 percent of the total tonnage of the shipped cast iron and amounted to 85 thousand 960 tons.
As you know, in 2012, Ukraine exported 1 million 967 thousand 540 tons of cast iron totaling 762 million $ 620 thousand.
