Taiwan's CSC reports an operating loss for 2025

China Steel Corporation (CSC), Taiwan's largest steel producer, has announced preliminary financial results for the full year 2025.

In December, the company's carbon steel sales totaled 608,055 tons, while carbon steel sales totaled 7.38 million tons for the full year.

In 2025, CSC's operating revenue was 317.16 billion NTD ($10.09 billion), down 12.0% year-on-year, while the operating loss was 3.90 billion NTD ($124.05 million), compared to operating income of 1.79 billion NTD, registered in 2024.
