The Pengji Iron Mine is located in Pengji, Dongping County, Tai'an City, with a total resource reserves of 234 million tons. It is the largest iron ore mine in Shandong Province. The project has an annual mining and processing capacity of 8 million tons of iron ore, producing 2.05 million tons of high-quality iron ore concentrate with an iron content of 65 percent per year.

The National Mining Safety Administration of China has completed the design review of the safety equipment for the iron mining project at the Pengji mine of Shandong Pengji Mining Co., Ltd. and officially approved the plan. This approval creates a solid safety foundation for the legitimate and appropriate implementation of the Peng Ji Iron Mine project and marks an important milestone in the construction of the project.
