This year, Colombia's ferrous metallurgy exports totaled 270,909 tons, unchanged, with a value of $682.49 million, down 10.9 percent year-on-year and year-on-year. In 2025, Colombia exported 144,549 tons of ferronickel, down 4.6 percent, worth $475.48 million, down 12.3 percent from the same period last year, as announced by the Colombian National Administrative Statistics Department (DANE). In December alone, Colombian ferronickel exports totaled 14,531 tons, down 8.2 percent, and totaled $45.03 million, down 19.6 percent year-on-year.
