MOC: The average price of rebar in China decreased by 0.1 percent from January 26 to February 1, 2026

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that the average price of finished steel in China decreased slightly between January 26 and February 1 this year.

During the specified period, average prices for steel channels, high-speed wire rod and rebar decreased by 0.3 percent, 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent on a weekly basis, respectively.

Over the same period, average prices for coking coal and smokeless lump coal increased by 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, while the average price for thermal coal remained stable every week
