S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its final decision to bypass a round welded carbon steel pipe made with a backing from China, completed in Oman, and then exported to the United States.
Concluding its investigation, the DOC determined that the import of these products, completed in Oman using hot-rolled steel of Chinese origin, bypasses orders for countervailing duties on imports of round welded carbon steel pipe from China.
The subsidy rates for imports of these products from China are in the range of 29.62-616.83 percent.
