Global stainless steel producer Aperam SA, headquartered in Luxembourg, announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2025.
Aperam reported a net profit of €29 million in the quarter, compared with a net profit of €12 million in the third quarter, and sales revenue of €1.36 billion, down 3.7% quarter-on-quarter due to seasonality in Brazil and weak demand in Europe, down 7.7% year-on-year. The company's adjusted EBITDA was down 9.5 percent quarter-on-quarter and down 42.2 percent year-on-year to €67 million.
In the fourth quarter, Aperam's steel shipments were down 2.3 percent quarter-on-quarter and up 9.7 percent year-on-year to 554,000 tonnes.
Full-year meanwhile, net profit The company was €9 million, down sharply from €231 million in 2024, while sales revenue fell 2.8% year-on-year to €6.08 billion. Aperam's adjusted EBITDA fell 4.8% year-on-year to €339 million this year due to pricing pressures and weak demand in Europe, while steel supplies remained relatively stable at about 2.29 million tons
