Wafer coil exports to the United States totaled 36,876 tons last November, up nine percent month-on-month and up 24.4 percent year-on-year, according to U.S. Commerce Department export data. In value terms, wafer roll exports totaled $41.48 million in November last year, up from $38.52 million the previous month and $29.61 million in the same month in 2024.
The US shipped the most wafer rolls to Mexico in November last year with 30,079 tons, up from 25,199 tons in October and 20 854 tons in November 2024. Canada was another popular destination with 6,407 metric tons. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for slab coil exports to the United States in November.
