According to statistics published by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the period from January to November last year, imports of basic steel products and ferroalloys to France amounted to € 8.18 billion, a decrease of 9.2% year-on-year.
During the specified period, France imported steel pipes and tubes for € 1.85 billion - by 0.5%, cold-rolled steel bars for € 461.29 million - by 3.6%, cold-rolled steel strips for € 598.95 million - by 7%, cold-rolled wire for € 442.33 million - by 1.3%, and metal structures and parts for € 2.29 billion - by 6.9%, all compared to the same period in 2024.
