Ukraine increased the export of sheet steel and reduced the export of long rental and coke

In January 2013, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine increased leaf steel export by 24% - to 571 thousand 130 tons. Including a hot -rolled sheet, 74 thousand 50 tons ( +20.9%), a cold -rolled sheet were shipped abroad - 86 thousand 680 tons ( +14.3%) and other sheet metal rolling 26 thousand tons ( +86.8%). This was reported in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The revenue from leaf steel exports in January 2013 amounted to 310 million 80 thousand dollars, while in December 2012 460 thousand 220 tons of flat rental were exported totaling 257 million 230 thousand dollars. Thus, in monetary terms, the export of sheet metal rolling in January grew by less than 10%.

In January 2013, Ukrainian metallurgists continued to increase the export of steel semi-finished products, bringing this figure to 855 thousand 100 tons, which is 12.8% more than in December last year, but still 14.5% less than a year earlier. On the other hand, given that the words “other sheet metal rolling” almost certainly mean sorting a thick leaf, then the statistics will look more evenly.

Meanwhile, the export of reinforcement and variety metal rolling in January 2013 decreased to 481 thousand 120 tons, which is 5.1% less than in the previous month and 7.4% less than January 2012. Money for a long rental in Ukraine received 5.4% less than in December 2012 - 301 million 920 thousand dollars.

In January of this year, Ukrainian cokesochemical enterprises significantly reduced the export of Cox abroad. The fall here amounted to 38.8% - up to 171 thousand 160 tons. Export revenue, which reached Ukraine, amounted to 38 million 870 thousand dollars according to the Cabinet of Ministers. As previously reported, Ukraine, on the contrary, began to increase the import of coke, which is due to increased requirements for its quality after the widespread introduction of dust -angle fuel blowing technology in the domain production. In this regard, in January 2013, the import of Koks grew by 14.7% and amounted to 120 thousand tons.
