At least three protesters against the construction of the Posco Communist Party in India died from an explosion of a home -made bomb

On Saturday evening, in the camp of opponents of the construction of a new metallurgical plant, the Posco steel corporation in the Indian town of Dzhagatsinghpur thundered as a result of which, at least three people were killed and another was seriously wounded.

The representative of the Antipopovsky activists PraSant Paikray said that the fault for the death of his associates lies on the “head cutters hired to promote the construction of a metallurgical plant”.

“The present goal of the attackers was the president of the Antipopov movement of Abhaya Sahoo, but around it was too dark and practically nothing is visible. As a result of the explosion, four people died, ”says Prazanta Pakorai. “We resolutely condemn this barbaric and inhuman murder of innocent residents and decisively demand the immediate arrest of the guilty.”

Meanwhile, according to the district police, three protesters died, and another in serious condition is in the hospital in the city of Dzhagatsinghpur.

“We received unconfirmed information about the death of three people. Claims of activists are not confirmed. Moreover, in accordance with the information we have, the protesters against Posco began to independently make bombs in their homes, ”said Satyabrat Bhoi police chief of police.

Representatives of the Posco steel company declare that the bombed bombed in Jagatsinghpur: “We are trying to act peacefully. We do not want violence in the region, ”the company said.

The history of the Indians conflict with Koreans originates in 2005, when Posco, the fifth largest steel company in the world, signed an agreement with the government of the Odisha state on the construction of a metallurgical plant with a capacity of 12 million tons of steel per year for 1600 hectares of land in the city of Dzhagatsinghpur.

The local population, rightly believing that it would become impossible to live in the neighborhood with a non -station, organized the Antipopian movement “Posco Pratirodh Sangram Samiti” that has since prevented the buying of land and eviction of local residents in every possible way.
