This increase is the starting point for the rise in price of a ton of galvanized steel from Japan for $ 100 in the second quarter of this year - up to $ 850/ton per fobe, the TEX say.
In turn, the South Korean Metallurgical Company Posco also announced new prices for galvanizing in March 2013, raising them on average by 20-40 dollars/ton. The allowance is designed to compensate for the rise in price of metallurgical raw materials and energy, the company reports.
Japanese and South Korean metallurgists intend to fill in the niche of European imports galvanized steel for production drainage systems , car and household appliances so far reduced the shipment of this material in the EU.
