On Friday, at the Zaporizhzhya factory, ferroalloys began to warm up the stoves and the resumption of production after forced downtime from December 1 last year. The leadership of the Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant also confirmed the intention to start the production of products in the very near future.
As reported, the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy (NKRE), agreed on the decision of the Council of wholesale electricity market (ORE) on the possibility of purchasing electricity electricity at wholesale market price (ORTs) excluding “subsidized certificates” of compensating costs related to the supply of electricity for regulated tariffs.
This decision was repeatedly blocked by the Council itself. His meeting was postponed five times, and when it took place, the decision necessary for the work of electrometallurgical enterprises was never made a decision.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Ukrainian Government Yuri Boyko said that the work of electrometallurgical plants and the oil refineries stopped for the same reasons will be resumed.
According to Boyko, negotiations with the leadership of ferroalloy plants have been completed, according to their results, the appropriate memorandum was signed, according to which production activities will be resumed.
According to the memorandum signed on Friday, the plants undertake to invest in technical re -equipment and modernization of electrometallurgical enterprises, in particular, aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving the environmental indicators of production, which provides for the reduction of the specific expenses of electricity for the production of unit of the main product by 2% compared with the actual average average data of 2011 years, reports the press center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
At the same time, the enterprises undertake to ensure the total consumption of electricity for the technological needs of metallurgical production during the period of the Memorandum in the volume of at least 900 million kWh - at PJSC Stakhanovsky Ferroalloy Plant and 1,500 million kWh - at the Zaporizhzhya Ferrow Plant PJSC.
Pavel Kravchenko, Chairman of the Board of the Zaporizhzhya Plant of Ferroalloy Plants, commented on these events: “Today we launch the stoves stopped on December 1, 2012. This process will take several days. If the situation allows, then the work will resume on other furnaces, extinguished two years ago. ” In the month of March, they plan to produce about 17 thousand tons of ferroalloys in Zaporozhye.
“The plant has not yet been working, the products are not produced, but we turned on the furnaces for warming up,” says the deputy chairman of the board of the Stakhanovsky factory of ferroalloys
