U.S. standard pipe imports totaled 51,475 tons last November, down 13.3 percent from October and down 21.3 percent year over year, according to final U.S. Commerce Department census data. In value terms, imports of standard pipes totaled $49.86 million in November, compared to $54.4 million in October and $73.97 million in November last year.
The United States imported the most standard pipes from Vietnam in November with 11,762 tons, compared to 19,140 tons in October and 7,893 tons in November 2024. Other top sources of imported standard pipes in November include the UAE with 10,150 metric tons, Canada with 6,665 metric tons, Turkey with 4,801 metric tons and Thailand with 4,681 metric tons.
