According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, exports of drawn wire to the United States totaled 6,550 tons last November, down 27.5% month-on-month and up 13.6% year-on-year. In value terms, wire exports totaled $16.23 million in October, compared to $20.67 million in the previous month and $16.29 million in the same month last year.
The United States shipped the most wire to Mexico in November with 2,661 tons, compared to 3,959 tons in October and 1,981 tons in November last year. Canada was another popular destination with 2,357 metric tons. There were no other significant destinations (1000 mt or more) for wire laid in the US in November.
