According to data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in January 2026, the Turkish Producer Foreign Sales Price Index (PPI)* increased overall by 4.06 percent compared to December and by 35.12 percent year-on-year, while an average increase of 27.63 percent was recorded over the past 12 months.
In this month, Turkish Producer Foreign Sales Prices domestic steel industry increased by 4.35 percent year on year and grew by 28.37 percent over the same month in 2025. Meanwhile, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 20.32 percent.
On the other hand, in January, Turkish manufacturers' foreign sales prices for domestic steel products, excluding machinery, increased by 3.42 percent compared to December and increased by 33.26 percent year on year. At the same time, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 27.20%.
