Peruvian steelmaker Siderperu reported net profits equivalent to $52.689 million in 2025, up 28.8% from the $40.895 million achieved in 2024.
Net sales rose 5.3% to $686.458 million, production costs increased 0.5% to $616.928 million, gross profit increased by 20.0% to $85.839 million and operating profit increased by 21.6% to $67.768 million
According to the company, the improved results mainly reflected higher volumes of steel shipped during the year, despite a slight decrease in the average price of products sold.
Under the control of the Brazilian group Gerdau, Siderperu has a production capacity of 750,000 metric tons (t) per year.
