In January this year, producer prices in French industry rose 0.5 percent month-on-month and fell 2.3 percent year-on-year, according to statistics published by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE). Manufacturer prices for industrial products in France rose 0.3 percent in January from December and fell 0.3 percent year on year.
In the month, prices for exported industrial products rose 0.3 percent, and prices for exported transport equipment rose 0.5 percent, both on a monthly basis. Year-on-year in January, prices for exported industrial products fell 2.3 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment fell 3.3 percent.
Meanwhile, import prices for industrial products in France rose 0.2 percent month-on-month in January and fell 1.8 percent year-on-year.
