In the first two months of the current year, the pride of the Metinvest group Metallurgical Plant Azovstal increased the production of steel to 742 thousand tons, which is 2% more than in January - February 2012. This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
In addition, the production of metal rolling over this period increased by 1% - to 687 thousand tons and cast iron smelting amounted to 644 tons, which is 1.7% more than in the first two months of 2012.
As we have already reported, last year, Azovstal produced 4 million 593 thousand tons of steel steel, smelted 4 million 26 thousand tons of cast iron and manufactured 4 million 168 thousand tons of metal rolling.
