According to the company's statement on Wednesday, March 4, the Indian company Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of the state-owned Coal India Limited, reached a coking coal production level of 3.26 million tons in February 2026, which is 1.6 percent less than last year.
The production of enriched coal during the month was fixed at 0.15 percent, showing a slight year-on-year increase.
Coking coal production in the first 11 months (April-February) of the 2025-26 fiscal year amounted to 29.50 million tons, a decrease of 15.30 percent year-on-year.
