S. Department of Commerce, imports of linear pipes to the United States totaled 42,769 tons in December last year, up 44.1 percent from November and down 8.7 percent year-on-year. In value terms, imports of linear pipes totaled $91.79 million in December last year, compared with $35.99 million in November and $64.95 million in December 2024.
The United States imported the largest amount of linear pipes from South Korea in December with 15,010 tons, compared with 12,950 tons in November and 20,200 tons in December 2024. Other major sources of linear pipe imports in December include Mexico with 13,480 metric tons, India with 8,764 metric tons, and Italy with 2,783 metric tons
