According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in January of this year, Turkey's seasonally adjusted monthly industrial production decreased by 2.8 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar-adjusted index decreased by 1.8 percent compared to January 2025.
In this month, Turkey's base metals production index decreased by 0.2 percent year-on-year and decreased by 1.5 percent month-on-month.
The index of production of finished metal products in January increased by 11.7 percent year-on-year and decreased by 5.8 percent month-on-month.
