During the specified period, France imported 2.03 billion euros of steel pipes and tubes - 1.6% more, 491.95 million euros of cold-rolled steel bars - 3.1%, 638.29 million euros of cold-rolled steel strip - 6.7%, 472.37 million euros of cold-drawn wire - 1.3% and 2.5 billion euros of metal structures and parts - 5.8% less compared to the same period in 2024.
The cost of steel imports to France decreased by 8.4 percent in 2025
According to statistics published by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in 2025, the main imports of steel products and ferroalloys to France amounted to 8.72 billion euros, a decrease of 8.4% year-on-year.
