The project concerns the Yongfeng Group's new steel mill, which is currently under construction in Linyi, Shandong Province. According to Fives, the plant is designed to produce a wide range of high-quality flat steel products, including exposed and unexposed automotive sheets and advanced high-strength steels.
The three Stein Digiflex® annealing furnaces to be installed
Fives stated that the contract includes the design and supply of three Stein Digiflex® annealing furnaces. The furnaces will be installed on two continuous galvanizing lines and one continuous annealing line at the new Yongfeng Group facility. The equipment manufacturer stated that the annealing furnaces are designed to meet the strict metallurgical requirements and operating conditions associated with high-quality steel grades.
Stefan Mehrein, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Global Steel Sales, Fives, stated that the project represents the beginning of a long-term collaboration with Yongfeng Group, and added that the company's technological processes are designed to help meet demanding metallurgical goals and surface quality requirements for galvanized steel products.
