CAAM: Passenger car sales in China decreased by 10.7 percent in January-February 2026

In January-February of this year, passenger car production and sales in China totaled 3.462 million units and 3.524 million units, down 12% and 10.7% year-on-year, respectively.

In February alone, China's passenger car production and sales totaled 1.4 million units and 1.536 million units, down 21.6% and 15.4% year-on-year, while down 32.1% and 22.7% month-on-month, respectively.
