According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in January this year, Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index increased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar-adjusted index increased by 30.0 percent compared to January 2025.
In this month, Turkey's industrial turnover index for the production of basic metals was stable month-on-month and increased by 23.1 percent on an annual basis.
The industrial turnover index for the production of finished metal products in January decreased by 3.1 percent on a monthly basis and by 30.6 percent on an annual basis.
