In January-February this year, the value-added industrial output of the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector in China increased by 2.2 percent year-on-year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on March 16.
In the first two months, China's total value-added industrial output increased by 6.3 percent year-on-year in January-February, value-added industrial production in the mining and manufacturing sectors increased by 6.1 percent and 6.6 percent year-on-year, respectively.
