In January of this year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey totaled 118,536 metric tons, down 44.3 percent month-on-month and up 4.7 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, revenue from these exports totaled $117.93 million, down 37.5% from the previous month and up 11.1% from January 2025.

This month, the UK was the largest export destination for welded pipes to Turkey, which received 16,680 tons, which is 49.6 percent more than last year. The UK is followed by Morocco with 14,863 tons, up 117.8 percent, and Croatia with 11,067 tons, up 338.2 percent year-on-year.
