According to data released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics of Pakistan (PFBS), scrap metal imports to Pakistan totaled 292,742 tons in February this year, down 23.3 percent from January and down 1.9 percent year-on-year. The value of these imports in this month amounted to $152.82 million, a decrease of 23.7% month-on-month and 1.6% year-on-year.
