MOC: The average price of rebar in China increased by 0.7 percent between March 9 and March 15, 2026

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) reported that the average price of finished steel in China increased between March 9 and March 15 this year.

During the specified period, average prices for high-speed wire rod, welded steel pipe, and rebar increased by 1.0%, 0.7%, and 0.7%, respectively, week over week.

Over the same period, the average price of thermal coal decreased by 0.5%, the average price of coking coal increased by 0.8%, while the average price of smokeless lump coal remained stable week after week.
