Manganese ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland totaled 51,000 metric tons in February this year, down 52.3 percent month-on-month and 5.5 percent year-on-year, according to monthly data released by the Port Hedland Port Authority.
Meanwhile, the only destination for the month was China
Port Hedland operates mines owned by BHP Billiton, Fortescue Metals Group and Atlas Manganese in the manganese ore-rich Pilbara region of Western Australia.
