S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has released the preliminary results of an administrative review of the anti-dumping duty ordinance on rectangular-shaped carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea for the review period from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
The DOC has previously established that South Korean exporters did not sell these products at prices below normal during the period under review. The DOC has previously determined the estimated weighted average dumping margin at zero percent for Dong-a-Steel Co., Ltd, zero percent for HiSteel Co., Ltd and 35.11 percent for Kukje Steel Co., Ltd. Since Kukje Steel Co., Ltd. was not selected for the individual review, DOC assigned the assessment rate based on the weighted average dumping margin calculated in the final results of this review for DOSCO and HiSteel.
DOC also canceled this review, in particular, with respect to NEXTEEL Co., Ltd., for which there were no viewed records of the products in question during the review period.
The final results of the review will be published within 120 days of the publication of these preliminary results.
