According to data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in February 2026, the Turkish Producer Foreign Sales Price Index (PPI)* increased by 2.38 percent overall compared to January and by 35.55 percent year-on-year, while an average increase of 28.90 percent was recorded over the past 12 months.
In this month, Turkish Producer Foreign Sales Prices of the domestic steel industry increased by 2.91 percent year on year and grew by 29.65 percent over the same month in 2025. Meanwhile, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 21.22 percent.
On the other hand, in February, Turkish producers' external prices for domestic steel products, excluding machinery, increased by 1.56 percent compared to January and increased by 31.92 percent year on year. At the same time, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 28.19%.
