Taiwan's exports of base metals rose 0.7 percent in January-February 2026

According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and products totaled $1.72 billion in February this year, down 7.1% from February 2025 and 10.9% from the previous month. In January, Taiwan export orders for base metals and products fell 3.1% month-on-month.

In January-February, export orders for base metals and products increased 0.7% year-on-year to $3.66 billion.
