S. Department of Commerce, imports of linear pipes to the United States totaled 27,447 tons in January this year, down 35.8 percent from December and 65.2 percent year-on-year. In value terms, imports of linear pipes amounted to $38.85 million in January this year, compared with $91.79 million in December and $106.43 million in January 2025.
The United States imported the largest amount of linear pipes from South Korea in January with 8,765 tons, compared with 15,010 tons in December and 28,272 tons in January 2025. Other main sources of linear pipe imports in January include the UK with 3,066 tons, India with 2,417 tons and Romania with 2,168 tons.
