According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, rebar exports to the US totaled 13,026 tons in January this year, up 293.4 percent month-on-month and down 55.6 percent year-on-year. In value terms, rebar exports were $11.78 million in January, up from $2.9 million in the previous month and $22.69 million in the same month in 2025.
The United States shipped the most rebar to Canada in January with 11,865 tons, compared to 2,403 tons in December and 23,586 tons in January 2025. In January, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for the export of rebar from the United States.
