According to Italian manufacturer Danieli Technologies, Saudi steel producer Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) has achieved a new record for steel production at its Jubail plant, relying on consulting services aimed at optimizing the electric arc furnace and casting.

According to Danieli's service division, the manufacturer recorded monthly bullion output of 103,227 tons in October 2025 at its Jubail plant, the highest level ever achieved at the facility. The new figure surpassed the previous record of 101,304 tons recorded in July 2025.
In addition, by December 2025, the steel company had reached an annual production level of 1,110,081 tons, setting a new annual benchmark for the site.
Record steel production with Danieli
The milestone was achieved with the support of Danieli Service, which acted as a technology and service provider, providing consulting services for the production and processing of high-carbon steel. According to the manufacturer of the plant, these services covered operations on the Danieli continuous casting machine, electric arc furnace and bar mill.
Production facilities and capacity
The electric arc furnace and rod mill, installed by Danieli and commissioned in 2015, are designed with an annual capacity of 1.1 million tons and 0.5 million tons, respectively. These enterprises produce billets with a cross-section of 150 mm × 150 mm and allow them to produce a wide range of special grades of steel.
