S. Department of Commerce, imports of standard pipes to the United States totaled 56,111 tons in January of this year, up nine percent from December and down 8.3 percent year-on-year. In value terms, imports of standard pipes totaled $53.34 million in January, compared with $49.15 million in December and $73.19 million in January last year.
The United States imported the most standard pipes from Thailand in January with 12,120 tons, compared with 11,706 tons in December and 2,541 tons in January 2025. Other major sources of imported standard pipes in January include the UAE with 11,450 metric tons, Canada with 7,309 metric tons, Oman with 4,977 metric tons, and Mexico with 4,449 metric tons
